The Scala Penetrometer is used to determine the penetration resistance of soil. This Scala Equipment is sourced directly from Geotechnics and has been manufactured in accordance with NZS 4402 and comprises:

• 1x Drop Weight

• 1x Handle

• 1x RockAnvil

• 1x Cone Tip (calibrated)

• 1x Hard-wearing PVC Carry Case

• 1x Anvil Adaptors

It is also recommended that the Scala Puller/Extractor is purchased with this equipment to increase the longevity of the unit. The addition of the RockAnvil also negates using the weight to reverse-scala the rods out of the ground.
